Great place for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict which were excellent. The hash browns were really good, Simple, browned.
Coffee was very good too. Staff really friendly, food came out quick and the value you can't beat. -

Pretty good! We have only had breakfast sandwiches here but they have been good. I typically get egg white and cheese on a bagel while my hubby gets bacon, egg and cheese. We have always enjoyed our sandwiches here and will definitely continue to return. There aren't many food options on this side of Windsor so it's nice to find a solid spot where we can grab a breakfast sandwich before work or on a lazy weekend.

I'm a frequent visitor to Day Hill given its proximity to my kids' daycare. It's a solid option for breakfast or lunch.
There's a good variety of breakfast items. If you want savory, they have a variety of egg options as well as homefries. You can get your bacon, ham or sausage as well. I'm a fan of the egg sandwiches.
If you want a sweet breakfast, they offer donuts or pastries (turnovers, etc). There are seasonal donut options - for example, apple cinnamon in the fall. My daughter loves their donuts.
Lunch is the usual deli options (sandwiches, salads, etc), along with potato and pasta salads. I enjoy their chicken salad - not too much mayo, with good flavor.
Desserts are fresh-baked and very good, especially the cookies.
Finally, the staff has been very friendly on all of my visits.
If you are in the area and want a quick breakfast or lunch, Day Hill is a good option. -

Went there a few months ago with my former fiance. He said the coleslaw tasted like BLEACH. Apparently someone forgot to wash the bowl. The attitude was less than apologetic but he did receive his money back. About a week later he did go there again with no other problems, so this may have been just a one time incident. I personally haven't been back since.
I also heard the lady behind the counter likes to flirt with guys while she's trolling for dates. How nice!! -

This is one of the few delis in the area that you can go to and grab a quick sandwich. The service is quick and the sandwiches are a decent size. I usually grab the turkey, bacon, cheddar panini for lunch which is around 7.50$. They put bacon in the sandwich as well as outside it before they panini press it. Pretty average sand which shop if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.
